"Comparison is the thief of joy." ~ Theodore Roosevelt
This quote from Theodore Roosevelt is often quoted as a point of caution. No matter if you're an entrepreneur, athlete, yoga fanatic or just moving through life on your spiritual journey, comparing your self to others is a no-no.
Are you a comparison thief? Here's what that can look like:
You steal from your vision, victory and joy by comparing yourself to others.
You snuff out your divine purpose by looking at someone else's journey and telling yourself you're not far enough, good enough or talented enough.
If you're caught up in the comparison trap, please stop looking at someone else and start paying 100% attention to your journey at your pace. Stay committed to your calling and most of all please stop stealing from yourself and preventing the rest of us from benefiting from your brilliance. The truth f the matter is found in the quote below… you are the only competition you should care about.
